Don't miss the world's biggest beach cleanup!
On Saturday, September 17, more than 10,000 volunteers from all over Southern California will do their part to clean up their local beaches, rivers, creeks and parks. And that's just part of the picture: Coastal Cleanup Day happens all around the world–last year, it drew over 600,000 participants!
Here in L.A., Heal the Bay is proud to host over 50 cleanup sites from Malibu to Pasadena, so it's easy to participate even if you don't live near the beach.
Help protect what you love. You'll feel better about our environment, and proud that you're making a difference.
Free Coastal Cleanup Day volunteer parking is available at the following beach site parking lots managed by the County of Los Angeles: Malibu Surfrider, Will Rogers, Venice, Dockweiler, Torrance, White Point/Royal Palms.
The City of Santa Monica has generously provided a limited number of parking passes available for Coastal Cleanup Day volunteers. These passes will be handed out on a first-come first-served basis at the parking kiosks while supplies last at the following lots: Lot 1 North, Lot 4 South, and Lot 5 South.
If free parking is not available at your designated beach site, we highly encourage carpooling, biking, or taking mass transit as daily beach permits can vary in price depending on the season, crowds, and beach.
