Get into the spirit of the season at Heal the Bay’s Santa Monica Pier Aquarium with a “fintastic” Halloween and Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration. The Aquarium, beach level at the Santa Monica Pier, has spooky, family friendly activities planned both days.
Heal the Bay is participating in this year's citywide yard sale! We've done some Fall cleaning, and there are many items that need to go. If you'd like to join in, you may bring stuff from home and sell alongside us, or you can browse all the great things we have to sell.

Join us for some story time fun! Help us celebrate Otter Week with a special story time with First 5 LA's Potter the Otter. Potter will be joining us during the Aquarium's regular 2:00pm story time to meet and greet Aquarium guests and pose for photographs. This event is free with Aquarium admission.

On September 10th, our special Heal the Bay annual members are invited to join us under the pier in the Santa Monica Aquarium for a quick drink and some light bites before heading up to the show. Mix and mingle with your fellow ocean-lovers surrounded by the glow of our tanks and take advantage of our clean bathrooms (until 7:30pm).
We will meet in the CVS Pharmacy parking lot in Mar Vista at 9:30 to gather as a group. We will start down the route together but everyone can come and go at their own pace. Everyone is welcome, so come bike, walk, or roller blade with HtB and enjoy a car-free day in LA!

The Site Captain Training is designed to teach captains everything they need to know about Coastal Cleanup Day in order to ensure that they are well prepared to serve as leaders for their sites on September 19th, 2015. Coastal Cleanup Day is the largest volunteer day on the planet! Heal the Bay coordinates more than 50 beach, inland, dive and kayak cleanup sites in L.A. County. And we need our captains ready to tackle this awesome day of service!
