Since 1990, Heal the Bay has successfully coordinated Coastal Cleanup Day activities in Los Angeles County, with over 200,000 volunteers participating to pick up over one million pounds of trash! In 2014, Heal the Bay will once again host approximately 60 cleanup inland and coastal sites. We will coordinate media coverage from the top local media outlets, including the Los Angeles Times and NPR, as well as our tremendous social media presence.
