Naam Yoga celebrates its first anniversary with free classes all day Monday, October 29. Doors open at 7 a.m. and continue with a range of free classes until 10 p.m. Classes include Zumba, Gyrokenisis, Pilates, Yoga for Spinal Health, Candlelight Vinyasa, Naam Yoga, Shakti Naam and special Full Moon Workshop. Universal Kabbalah offers free consultations to discover how your birthday reveals planetary influences, and $10 chair massages are available from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Heal the Bay is hosting our first big holiday festival this year! The Fall Festival at WAYS "Reading and Fitness Park" is a fun-filled event for parents to bring their children, meet neighbors, and learn about the work and service that local community groups provide in their area. This Halloween event will have pumpkins, hay-bales, jack-o-lanterns, and (potentially!) chickens. Activities include pumpkin carving and lots of fun arts and crafts. The empty lot in South L.A. where the Fall Festival is held will eventually be WAYS Park.
