Join us for some STEM-based educational fun at the Aquarium!
your budding scientist wowed by whales? Enamored with eels? Starstruck
by sea stars? If so, enroll him or her in a fun, educational marine
science learning experience in our Science Adventures Camps at the Santa
Monica Pier Aquarium. Each day is themed around a different ocean topic
and is filled with games, crafts and laboratory experiences in a
setting that fosters interaction with more than 100 species of marine

Week 1 (K-2)*: June 27 – July 1
Phylum Discovery Week is all about being scientists to understand the
different groupings of ocean animals! We’ll explore the squishy and
shelled Mollusks, the stinging Cnidarians, the armored Arthropods, the
spikey Echinoderms and the very important Vertebrates.
Week 2 (K-2): July 11 – 15
how to be a scientist while studying the animals that live off our
local beaches and in faraway seas! This week you can become a master of
camouflage, swim through the world of SCUBA, discover our local
watershed and get hooked on helping fish.
Week 3 (2-4): July 18 – 22
the wonderful world of water! We will meet the incredible animals that
live in our coastal waters and then we’ll get our feet wet learning
about where our water comes from and what we can do to help conserve it.
Week 4 (2-4): July 25 – 29
awesome topics covered in Week 1 are back by popular demand for Week 4,
however, we will dive a bit deeper for this older school of fish!
Week 5 (2-5): August 1 – 5
matey! Pirates have invaded the Aquarium and we want you to join our
motley crew! Learn about the science behind being a pirate and become
the ultimate explorer by captaining our Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV).
We will put our pirate courage to the test as we brave the rides of
Pacific Park and go on a scavenger hunt for trash and treasures! It will
be an epic pirate adventure!

Our Summer Camp refund policy is as follows:
Before June 13th, camp fee is refunded, less $100 administration fee. On or after June 13th, camp fee is non-refundable.
