Summer Science Adventures Camp
Is your budding scientist wowed by whales? Enamored with eels? Starstruck by seahorses? If so, enroll him or her in a fun, educational marine science learning experience in our Science Adventures day camp at the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium. Each day is themed around a different marine science topic and is filled with games, crafts and laboratory experiences in a setting that fosters interaction with more than 100 species of marine life.
Thanks to the generosity of the Ella Fitzgerald Charitable Foundation, summer camp scholarships are available! To apply, please download the application and return it to the Aquarium as soon as possible.
Featuring exclusive use of our Aquarium and content tailored to school curricula, summer field trips are fun, hands-on educational experiences for pre-K through 12th grade students and their teachers.During your program, your students have the Aquarium to themselves as they examine the ocean animals and plants in our touch tanks and observe live animals in our other exhibits. A classroom component is designed to teach multi-grade level groups of students, engaging the youngest members of your group while holding the attention of the oldest students as well. High school programs are customized to meet the individualized needs of both teachers and upper grade level curriculum requirements.
