New Runoff Treatment System Targets Bacteria at Malibu's Puerco Beach
October 11, 2007
LA County and City of Malibu officials, along with Heal the Bay President Mark Gold, dedicated a new $1.3 million water quality improvement project today in Malibu. The County of LA facility will treat as much as 100 gallons per minute of dry weather runoff flowing from Marie Canyon, effectively removing pollutants before they reach Puerco Beach at the canyon’s outlet.
