This Summer, Spark Love of Ocean Science In Your Kids
Heal the Bay offers lively days of aquatic discovery for youth of all ages
SANTA MONICA, CA (Tuesday, April 23, 2012) -- Heal the Bay today unveiled its new slate of summer enrichment opportunities designed for parents eager to encourage ecosystem stewardship in their children.
The regional environmental group has developed a number of summer science adventures aimed at getting youngsters out of the house and discovering the wonders of our local ocean and watersheds.
Led by Heal the Bay’s highly trained educators, these hands-on, exploration programs instill curiosity about the world around us. The opportunities are designed for a wide range of youngsters – be it a four-year-old who’s ready to wade into ocean science through the Micro Biologist program, an elementary student who’s curious what lurks beneath the waves, or a high schooler who wants to get valuable experience in protecting our aquatic resources.
