No matter what Los Angeles County neighborhood you call home, Heal the Bay is there: from Malibu's beaches to the Tujunga Wash at the edge of the Los Angeles National forest; from Silverlake and Echo Park south to Compton and Downey; whether it's Manhattan Beach or all the way around the Palos Verdes Peninsula to Long Beach.

You can find Heal the Bay staff, volunteers and supporters at benefits, community events, public hearings, festivals, corporate offices, schools, forums, conferences, gallery openings and faith-based facilities across the Los Angeles region, working to foster environmental stewardship. Each point of presence in your neighborhood helps us build awareness for stormwater and urban runoff and its prevention. Getting out into the community allows us to educate the public about the potential risks tied to consuming contaminated fish or being exposed to ocean pollution.
Whether you live, work or play near our coastal waters or far inland, you can make a difference in the health of our connected eco-system, from watershed to wetland to ocean shores. Discover how you can help by joining us at a local event in your community, or request a member of Heal the Bay's Speakers Bureau for a free, interactive presentation on the causes of ocean pollution, invite one of our Ambassadors to your next festival, meeting or expo, or learn about work with our Healthy Neighborhoods, Healthy Environment, which are working with different schools, faith-based and community groups to implement long-term environmental initiatives.
Discover how we're all connected from our cities to the shore through the Malibu, Ballona, San Gabriel, Dominguez Channel and Los Angeles River watersheds. Look for Heal the Bay at a happening near you.
