Coastal Cleanup Day Sites
This year, we have nearly 50 cleanup sites spanning 1,500 miles through Los Angeles County, including Beach Sites, Dive Sites and Inland Sites. Here, you can find parking information as well as special details about each site. Once you've decided on a site, you can sign up online.

|Abalone Cove||5970 Palos Verdes Dr S., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275||
Park in the lot located on the map. Be sure to wear comfortable closed toe shoes, as there is a short, somewhat steep hike down to the beach area.
|Agoura Hills/Medea Creek||Park at the Southwest Corner of Agoura Roads on the lot in the map, called Bennett’s Best Christmas Trees.|
|Arroyo Seco/Avenue 26||Lacy Street Neighborhood Park, 90031||
Meet at Lacy Street Neighborhood Park, on the corner of Lacy Street and Avenue 26. Use the metro at the Lincoln/Cypress Gold Line Station or street parking.

|Balboa Park||Enter Balboa Park from Balboa Boulevard. The site is located where the flag marker is on the map.|
|Ballona Wetlands||303 Culver Blvd., Playa del Rey, 90293||Park in the gravel lot behind Gordon's Market. Cleanup entrance is in the northeast corner.|
|Cabrillo State Beach||3720 Stephen M. White Dr., San Pedro, CA 90731||Meet at outer Cabrillo Beach. For more information, visit cabrillomarineaquarium.org.|
|Colorado Lagoon||5119 E. Colorado St., Long Beach, CA 90814||Metered parking is available next to the beach. More information.|
|Compton Creek||123 E Artesia Blvd, Compton CA 90220||Cleanup site located behind the Casino, just north of the 91 fwy (Google Maps). Park in the 24 Hour Fitness parking lot, and volunteer check-in will be located adjacent to the Tree Circle.|
|Culver City-Overland||4975 Overland Ave., Culver City||Park at the library. The cleanup is behind the library.|
|Culver City-Ballona Creek/Duquesne||4343 Duquesne Ave., Culver City||
ZERO WASTE SITE! Please bring a bucket and glove if you have them!
Duquesne Avenue, south/west corner of the intersection along the creek bike path, across from Culver City Transportation. Park along Jefferson and Duquesne.
|Culver City-Ballona Creek at Syd Kronenthal||Park at Syd Kronenthal Park, 3459 McManus Ave., Culver City. Meet by the bike path entrance.|
|Culver City-Ballona Creek/Sepulveda||The cleaning site is located at the southwest corner of the intersection along the creek bike path at Sepulveda. Parking along the west side of the street is preferred. Host: Kiwanis International.|
|Dockweiler Beach (Tower 55)||11999 Vista del Mar, El Segundo, CA 90293||
We will set up the registration table on the sand between Tower 54 and Tower 55 near Imperial Hwy and Tower 54 near Spoke 'n Stuff Bike rental shop. Park in the lot at the end of Imperial Highway. When you get to the registration table, you are going to have to cross the bike path. Please do not block the bike path. See map.
Yoga Trailblazers will host a free yoga class south of Tower 55 (closer to the beach) from 8:30 to 9:30 am before the cleanup. It is a beginner level 1-2 class, so bring a yoga mat and wear sunscreen. The first 25 people to the yoga class will receive a free day pass (valued at $20 each), and 15 passes for a free meal at Veggie Grill ($20 value), a one month pass to YogaWorks ($100 value) and a goodie bag from The Playa Post ($50 value) will be raffled after the cleanup! |Hermosa Beach||1201 The Strand, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254||
There will be some parking spots reserved for attendees in Lot B, which can be accessed by going west on 14th Street, turning left onto Beach Drive, then left on 13th Street. The lot is on the right-hand side. Passes will not be necessary and are first-come, first-serve. Volunteers are welcome to park at the Community Center (free parking – pass not required), but there is a short walk west on Pier Avenue (about a 10 minute walk) to get to the Pier.
|Ken Malloy Park||25820 Vermont Ave, Harbor City, CA, 90710||Cleanup site is located in the southwest corner of Harbor Park. Park in the parking lot near the intersection of Anaheim Street and Vermont Avenue.|

You must be dive certified to attend this site! Please arrive at 8AM for a 9AM entry. Meet at the Picnic Tables/Lifeguard station at the North Beach. We ask that everyone bring a mesh bag for the underwater cleanup for gathering materials. We will have the collection receptacles at the picnic area for post-dive collection.
Please present your parking pass to the ranger stationed at the entrance of the parking area to receive parking instructions. Be sure to mention that you are part of the dive group. |King Harbor||The tent for this site will be in front of the Port Royal Yacht Club, a light blue building. There will be an entrance code written on the gate on the day of Coastal Cleanup to enter the parking lot.|
|Palos Verdes at Malaga Cove/
|387 Paseo del Mar, Palos Verdes, CA 90274||Free park at the intersection of Paseo Del Mar and Via Arroyo, no pass needed, and meet at this intersection. Wear closed toe, comfortable shoes, as it is a short hike down to the beach and there are many rocky areas in Malaga Cove.|
|Malibu/Surfrider||West side of Malibu Pier. 23100 Block of Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90265||Park in the parking lot or along the PCH. There is also a dive site at this location, so you can see what interesting items the divers pull up!|
|Malibu Pier Dive||
You must be dive certified to attend this site! Please plan to arrive for the dive at 8am, with dive instructions starting at 8:30AM. Prizes will be awarded for the most bizarre items found at noon. Last year $3,000 worth of prizes were given out!
We do free air fills, half price on any gear rentals at this site. Site sponsor: Malibu Divers.
|Manhattan Beach Pier||Manhattan Beach Pier, CA 90266||Free parking is very limited in Manhattan Beach, so bring quarters or credit/debit card to park in a metered spot. You can also try to find a free spot along North Armore Avenue on the west side of the street between 17thand 20th, or a little more south there is a free lot that is easy to miss between 12th and 13th off Ardmore. The Cleanup Site is just south of the Pier.|

This Santa Monica cleanup site, sometimes known as the “Inkwell," was a popular beach hangout for African Americans from the 1920s to the early 1960s. In 2008, the City of Santa Monica officially recognized this important gathering place. Santa Monica Conservancy docents will be on hand to educate volunteers on the history of the unique site.

LandShark Lager cohosts this cleanup site, featuring a SUP clinic, dory and paddleboard races from 11am-3pm.
8:30am: Start the day with Naam Yoga at Peace on the Beach and form a human peace circle of healing for the bay to celebrate our Clean Up and International Peace Day. FREE!
Cleanup volunteers can enter to win one of three Michelob Ultra Stand Up Paddleboards at three times: noon at the Heal the Bay tent, 1 pm at the Dory Race Finish Line, and 3 pm at Rusty's Surf Ranch.
Parking rates are as posted -- sorry no discount for volunteers.

Volunteers meet at Miramar Park in Torrance to pick up trash and contribute to maintaining cleanliness at Torrance Beach, which begins at Calle Miramar and ends at Paseo De La Playa. |Zuma Beach Tower 2||30000 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA||One of the largest and most popular beaches in the Los Angeles County, Zuma is known for its long, wide sands and excellent surf.|

Take Pacific Coast Highway North toward Malibu. At Temescal Canyon Road, turn West into parking lot. Look for beach captain and check in location on the sand.

Cleanup will focus on neighborhood alleys, and ample street parking will be available. Feel free to bring your own cleanup equipment (gloves, rake/broom), and refreshments and a small lunch will be provided.
