Celebrate Earth Day by cleaning the beach and collect a reward for your efforts: FREE admission to our Aquarium.
The weekend-long festivities feature special presentations and activities for all ages and an offer of free admission to everyone who first cleans the beach. Participate in the Nothin' But Sand Cleanup from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 20th at the Santa Monica Pier (north side) or get your supplies at a beach cleanup station in front of the Aquarium to clean the beach near the Pier between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. April 20th or 21st. Either way, the reward is FREE admission to the Aquarium.
In addition to learning how to make every day Earth Day and lessen your impact on the ocean environment, there is always the opportunity to touch live animals and check the more than 100 species exhibited – all marine life found in the Santa Monica Bay.
