This workshop trains volunteers to become “Dockwalkers,” who conduct face-to-face boater education about environmentally-sound boating practices. Receive free educational materials to distribute to boaters at marinas, boat launch ramps, boat shows, and special events.
The efforts of Dockwalkers increase boater awareness about clean and safe boating, thus improving the recreation experience in California while helping to preserve its precious wildlife habitat and water quality. You must register to attend by contact Vivian Matuk at (415) 904-6905 or email@example.com.
Training presented by the Department of Boating and Waterways and the California Coastal Commission’s Boating Clean and Green Program, the Santa Monica Bay Restoration Foundation in partnership with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and the US Power Squadrons.
