AB 258: Nurdles

Would control discharges of plastic pellets used to make plastic products (“nurdles”) into rivers and streams.
SB 898: Derelict Fishing Gear
Would address derelict (abandoned) fishing gear and assign resin code labeling for bioplastics.
SB 899: Toxic Plastic Additives
Would ban toxic additives in plastic packaging.
AB 904: Food Packaging
Would require takeout food packaging be made from recyclable or compostable materials.
