THE WHALE is narrated by Ryan Reynolds and tells the true life story of a young, wild killer whale - an orca - nicknamed Luna, who loses contact with his family on the coast of British Columbia and turns up alone in a narrow stretch of sea between mountains, a place called Nootka Sound where he attempts to befriend the local people.
