More Ways to Give

renew your membership or join us now

Heal the Bay is only as effective as our member base. Please be an active part of the solution by becoming a Heal the Bay member, or renewing your membership, today. Your membership funds our volunteer programs such as Speakers Bureau and Community Advocates, which make it possible for us to educate tens of thousands of Southern Californians on the causes and remedies for urban runoff. Become a Defender of the Bay and make the most of your membership support by giving in monthly installments. You will receive personal, monthly updates on our science, education, community action and advocacy work. Or, join our giving circle of community leaders as a Bay Champion, with special annual benefits.

Dedicate a gift

A gift to Heal the Bay is the perfect way to show someone how important they are while at the same time making a significant difference in our Bay. When you dedicate a donation on behalf of or in memory of a person, you can recognize an accomplishment (e.g. graduation), celebrate an event (e.g. birthday, wedding or holiday), or honor someone's memory. If you like, Heal the Bay will send notification of your dedication gift along with your personal note to the person of your choosing.

Aquadoption

Whether you foster an animal for yourself, a classroom, or a grandparent, Aquadoption at the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium is a special way to connect with an animal and gain a greater understanding of the amazing ocean habitat in our Bay. Check out photos and fun facts about each of the nine local marine animals currently available. By participating in this program, you make a commitment to keeping the Santa Monica Bay and its animals healthy and safe.

benefit event/partner

Many of our partners (companies, individuals, families, groups, and organizations), independently sponsor one-time or ongoing promotions and special events to benefit Heal the Bay. If you are planning a party, concert, auction, birthday, festival, bar mitzvah or other event, make it a truly special event by supporting Heal the Bay. If you own your own store or boutique, please consider partnering with Heal the Bay by donating a percentage of sales to support our science, education, community action and advocacy work.

Sponsor a program

Together with the help of community members such as you, Heal the Bay has been making Southern California's coastal waters and watersheds, including Santa Monica Bay, safe, healthy and clean. When you sponsor Heal the Bay's programs to improve the quality of Southern California, you can do so knowing that we manage the financial support of donors like you as effectively and efficiently as possible to improve the Southern California lifestyle. Or enroll in our workplace giving campaign for automatic payroll deductions (to see if your company offers this benefit or to learn more, contact our partner EarthShare).
