'A Wedge to Remember': Epic Surf Film to Benefit Fight Against Hermosa Oil Drilling
You may remember Hurricane Marie, the storm-of-the-century that sent all-time swell to Newport Beach and Malibu in August. Filmmaker Josh Pomer captured some amazing footage of Big Wednesday and the surfers who paddled out that day. His new feature-length documentary, "A Wedge to Remember," is making its way up and down the coast over the next few weeks.

The 4th annual LA Craft Beer Crawl will take place on Saturday, August 10, and Sunday, August 11. Attendees will have over 100 craft beers to sample across 7 different unique bars and restaurants all within walking distance in Downtown Los Angeles.
Join the Santa Monica Sports Club on Sunday, June 30, for a beach volleyball tournament in Santa Monica to raise funds and awareness for Heal the Bay. 100% of the team registration fee goes to Heal the Bay.
The competition-friendly "tournament" is perfect for players of ALL skill levels. The focus is on Heal the Bay and having a good time. Among other prizes, the team showing the best combination of participation, enthusiasm and good sportsmanship will be awarded a trophy known as the Squid Cup!

100% of proceeds from the $5 Bay-Bombers (vodka, sweet and sour, blue curacao, a splash of pineapple juice and Red Bull) from May 20-24 goes to Heal the Bay, as well as suggested donations from the door.
